Welcome to Commonwealth University! On behalf of the entire CU leadership team, we are so pleased you're here. No matter which campus you call home, our mission is to help you grow as an individual, develop lifelong knowledge and skills, and pursue your passions. As you learn, live, and study on our campuses or online, we are committed to ensuring you feel welcomed, safe, and encouraged to do your best.

Your education extends beyond the classroom. You will have opportunities to explore new ideas, build meaningful relationships, develop valuable skills, and discover pathways that will help shape your future — all within a community that values who you are.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. They are here to challenge, encourage, and guide you as you navigate your academic experience and make the most of the opportunities available to you. Seek support when you need it, get involved on campus, and take full advantage of the resources designed to help you thrive.

This catalog is an important resource, so take a moment to become familiar with it now, and return to it throughout the year. You will find  policies, procedures, and information that will guide you on academic programs and courses, general education, and student responsibilities. And whenever you need more than the catalog can offer, reach out to your professors, your advisor, or any of our campus offices.

Once again, welcome to our university community. I look forward to seeing you and celebrating everything you will accomplish!
